Assistant Manager
My first media job. I coordinated team projects and supervised video editing and basic design work, which gave me an early start in leading people and running projects.
I shoot, edit and plan content that is built for attention. Over ten years and thirteen roles, from Shillong to Ahmedabad to Toronto, I have filmed launches, edited documentaries, photographed food and built websites. Today I work inside Hyatt Regency Toronto.

My first media job. I coordinated team projects and supervised video editing and basic design work, which gave me an early start in leading people and running projects.
I set up cameras and lights, recorded cultural, academic and religious programs, and helped in post-production. This is where I learned the technical side of filming on a real set.
I shot live action at government sports events and award ceremonies, then delivered edited digital albums for public and organizational use. Fast action teaches you timing.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours, Management) from St. Anthony's College, then kept the books at Akash Hardware: payables, receivables, billing and inventory in Tally ERP and Excel.
I edited cultural and educational documentaries for YouTube and live events, and helped with shoot coordination, event logistics and social publishing. In 2022 I also did remote data entry for Kalcom Systems.
Public figures for the Infinity Foundation Official YouTube channel, run from Princeton, NJ. They show the size of the audience I edited for. They belong to the whole team, not to me alone.
I edited academic and promotional videos for faculty and student projects, and kept every piece on the university's brand.
I landed in Toronto at the end of 2023 and started making work in my first month here.
My own label for short films, YouTube content, reels and photography, from planning through shooting, editing and publishing. I also designed and launched the NITIJNA website for a friend's new business, my first site to go live.
My first hotel job in Canada. I learned how room presentation and small details shape what a guest remembers about a stay.

Invites, guest list, filming, edit and web for one event. That is the core of hotel event promotion.
Postgraduate studies in media and technology, done alongside work, to add formal training to years of hands-on production.
Cash, inventory and customers at a local store, then a year of high-volume service on the crew at McDonald's. Busy shifts taught me to stay calm, fast and consistent.
Full time on the floor, working alongside every department. I also created photo and video content for the hotel's Summer Carnival, my first piece of hospitality marketing.
I don't just show the hotel. I show the experience.
Food and bar photography, portraits, social posts, video edits, websites and my sketchbook. Tap any piece to see it larger.

How the journey lines up with the Marketing & Social Media Coordinator role at Hyatt Regency Toronto.
Done for over ten years. I shoot on DSLR and cinema cameras and edit in Premiere Pro, After Effects and CapCut.
Already inside. I know the hotel's spaces, rhythms and people, and I created content for its Summer Carnival.
A full food and bar set. Low-light tabletop, overhead and macro work, ready for menus and feeds.
Launch experience. For NASTIK I handled invitations, guest tracking, filming and the edit, with an MP and authors on stage.
Organized by habit. Accounting and data entry taught me to track every figure. I plan in Google Sheets and report what moved.
Every day. As a houseman I work with housekeeping, front desk, banquets and engineering, and I speak English, Hindi and Punjabi.
I understand hospitality from the inside, and my creative background lets me turn those moments into photography, video and social content.
